Compact and excellent

My options were limited by the small space I had available for a refridgerator, but this one not only fits but is also excellent. I especially like that freezer has lots of space and the clear shelves in the fridge make it easy to see what I have.

Right size fridge

Perfect size fridge for a small kitchen space inside a cabin. In fact, it’s larger than the fridge it replaced; And much nicer! Runs quietly too, which was very welcome.

NOT HAPPY!

Fridge was delivered on Tue and seemed to work fine. Temperate on the thermometer 24 hr after plugging it in showed it was in the safe range for the frigerated section. Decided to put some drinks in the fridge and some in the freezer. Thurs everything was fine drinks were cold temp was fine but by Friday night, just 3 days after getting it, it is now reading 50 degree's everything in the fridge is warm! Added a second thermometer and turned the fridge up one degree which is now the highest setting the fridge will go and it would not kick on. Just 12 hrs and the temp is barely below 40 degree's. There is barely any cold air blowing out of the back of the fridge. If we stocked the fridge full of food it would never keep the stuff cold. This fridge is rated as energy efficient how can that be if you have to run it on the highest setting.

Another Winner

We've owned Danby refrigerators for more than 20 years. We sent both our kids off to college with their own Danby compact room size refrigerator. We've also had a small one in the garage for extra water and soda. This latest Danby we love. The freezer is adequate to hold about a week's worth of frozen food. The inside with shelves, pull out drawers and door shelves helps us refrigerate the oversize food containers we have had delivered during this pandemic. All these refrigerators have been super reliable and we certainly recommend this brand. We have owned this Danby about 6 months.
