Best washer ever owned!!

Not as good as I was expecting!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this washer about a month ago and the only problem I have with it so far is a knocking noise during the wash cycle. The machine is level and it is not a heavy load so not sure why it is doing that.

So Far So Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. The machine operates quietly and is well balanced. Good feature set, although I doubt that the Extra Power option will get used. One minor complaint: the alert chime is not loud enough, even when set at the loudest setting (and we have a first-floor laundry).

Major Repair Needed After Only 2 years.
Washer worked great for exactly 2 years until the pump died. Cost to replace the pump is almost half the cost of a new washer. When we bought it, we decided to pay the premium for Maytag thinking it would last 10 years. Nothing is built with quality any more.
